Hello everyone! We're approaching the 10th Anniversary of EVE Online and, as you might have seen, many players are making a push to break the PCU this weekend. We here at CCP think this is awesome and want to help out any way we can! After all, it is 10 years of EVE Online!
We'll have full details about what we're doing a bit later in the day, but for now we're announcing our "Guess the PCU" contest with some awesome prizes! The rules are simple...
On May 5th, between 0:00 and 17:00 GMT, send an EVE Mail to the character "CCP EVEis10" with your best guess at what the highest PCU for the day will be.
One entry per account only, and we will be checking! Anyone who attempts to make two entries on one account will be disqualified
There will be ten prizes awarded to the closest guessers.
Prizes:
oFirst place wins 1 x GTX 680 video card
oSecond place wins 1 x EVE CollectorGÇÖs Edition
oThird, fourth, and fifth place get 10 x PLEX each
oSixth-Tenth place get one XL Razer t-shirt each
Ties will be broken via random draw.

Hi guys, some clarifications...
PCU = Peak Concurrent Users, or the maximum number of people logged on to the server all at once that day.
Any guesses submitted before midnight GMT on the 5th will be deleted. They will not count against you. You MUST EVE Mail them to CCP EVEis10. No guesses posted in this thread will be counted. We do apologize if you can't be available on the day to submit your guess, but we're doing this for players who help us celebrate our 10th anniversary.
The CSPA charge was left on intentionally to discourage people from mailing before the appropriate time. It will be turned off shortly before midnight tonight.
For the moment, assume the Razer t-shirts are only available in XL. I'll check next week to see if there's anything we can do about swapping them for different sizes.

The number counts EVE Online players connected to Tranquility only.
Put the guess in the body of the mail. We'll be automatically pulling the guesses, but "manually" finding the winners.

Winners will be announced shortly. We have to do a few tie-breakers. 1st place winner was 1 off, by the way.
